I liked the way Aaron wrote the story like an 8-year-old would think. I also liked the comic-strip style artwork. Children need pictures to augment their reading experience. A great touch was the rendering of childhood sadness at the loss of something familiar i.e. the fencerow. Combining this loss with the fall season was powerful.
